I agree, there is glory in God's grace. I'd love to know why he got that tattood on his arm. Back story please? It always intrigues me as to how/why someone decides to inscribe something on their own flesh forever. If he has time, I'd love to hear it.

Hi Kenz, first and foremost big ups and an amazing shot from Garrick. Likewise, thank you for the comment and agreement. As for the meaning behind the tat, it's different levels for me. At first I wanted to get my mother and father's first or my mother's maiden name on my back. I asked my parents how they got their first name and why their parents named them so. I soon began to research their names through the internet, library, etc. So my mother's name, Gloria's, comes from the word "Glory". Johnston is derived from John, which in the Bible and origin means "to be in God's grace", "God's grace". I liked the ring to it and I wanted to devote my arm specifically to them. Secondly, I and my family are devoted Catholics. I've gone through Catholic school, holy and Sunday mass for as long as I've lived. To etch, not only the origins of my parents name, but the One who had brought them together and brought ME into this world was another reason. Lastly, I have a tattoo of a compass within a Filipino sun. As a Sagittarius (an archer) , I'm all about directionality and where to go. I strongly believe that glory, enlightenment, happiness, the end all be all is found in God's grace. My first, middle, and last name translates into "GOD IS WITH US IN GOOD JOURNEY INTO ASCENSION"
I'm very open minded and respect all religions and practicing faiths. Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and more.... they all have a common relationship in that there is glory through a higher power.
